Wii Night in Birthday Gift

I made this for my brother's 28th birthday. His birthday was a few days ago but I wanted to make sure he received the gift (I mailed it to him) before I posted it here. I learned my lesson about posting his gifts on my blog - at Christmas I posted something I made for him and he left a comment on my post. I had no clue he even looked at my blog. So if you're looking now - Hi Jeff!

I got the template for this from Papertrey Ink. It's one of Lauren Meader's timeless templates. You can find the template here. The template I used is the take along tote. I put a candy bar & a bag of m&m's in the front outside pocket. On the back pocket I put a bag of microwave popcorn. I put a Wii game in the middle of the tote. There is a pocket on the inside and I put a gift card for his favorite pizza delivery place in that pocket. Everything he needs for a "Wii night in"!

Wow - what a great gift!! I love this template, I can't believe all the space there is to hold things! I like the colors you used also, perfect for either a boy or a girl.

I'm familiar with Lauren and Papertrey, Inc. but have never tried one of the templates. Love what you did with it.

I love this, especially the stars and the patterned paper you chose. Your brother is one lucky lad! ;)

Very nicely done, Heidi. I bet your brother loved it. I like to give little combo gifts like this. I'll have to try this idea - much more creative than a plain ol' bag. :) TFS!

Heidi, this is your brother. I was unaware of the whole "package" theme. I immediately ate the m&ms and the chocolate bar. I will have to take a picture of myself playing Wii Ski on the Wii Fit. Thanks for the presents.
