My attempt at scrapbooking...

My friend Lindsay is hosting a layout contest. I rarely scrapbook and definitely had to step out of my comfort zone to create this layout. But Lindsay is a great friend and I loved these pics of her daughter at the park, so I agreed to enter her contest! She is giving away a little goodie bag to everyone that enters, and a nice prize to the contest winner! I dry embossed the trees and added some super tiny buttons to them. I also added the buttons to the edges of the green strips of paper in the middle of the layout. I don't think you can see it in the picture, but I also dry embossed a dot border around the white layer toward the ends of the pages. The title was cut with my Cricut. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, as I don't consider myself a scrapbooker!

You are a scrapbooker indeed. I am not a bit surprised. After all . . everything you touch turns to gold. Or should I say paper-rrific! wonderful layout.

I absolutely LOVE your layout. When I received it in the mail and opened it up, I just couldn't get enough of it! I think I looked over every inch of it. :) I loved the little buttons you used, and the colors were great. You did an absolutely, positively awesome job. I am so proud of you for stepping outside of your comfort zone.
Thank you for being such a great friend.
