I finished up the final draft of my brother's wedding invitation. I made several samples for them to choose from a couple months ago. They chose this one, and I've been working on a final draft to show them when I go home to Ohio this weekend. When I made the first one, I wasn't thinking of the RSVP envelope for the card, and my RSVP card didn't fit in any regular sized envelope. Once I revised it to fit in a small envelope, all my other dimensions were off for the other pull-outs. It was hard figuring out these dimensions and getting all the pull-out tabs to line up correctly and look nice. I think I have 7 hours invested in just this one card! It should be easier moving forward now that I know the dimensions and have the design completed. I am so excited to show this invite to them!
The cardstock is chocolate chip by Stampin Up. The pink patterned paper behind the Vellum is American Crafts Miss Muffett from the Baby line of papers. It's now retired and not being made anymore. I've been to 9 Michael's stores in my area buying up what they had on their shelves. If you see it in your area, I would gladly pay you for it and the shipping cost for you to send it to me! I am a little worried about not having enough of this paper to finish all 125-150 invites! Hope you have a nice Labor Day weekend!

Heidi, this is just gorgeous! What an incredible gift for your brother and his fiance. I will check my Michael's stores and see if they have this paper. That would be a shame not to have enough. Now that you know what the dimensions are, the other ones should go much faster. The figuring out is always the hardest part. You'll need to set yourself up a little assembly line. :) If we lived anywhere near each other, I'd come help you.
Heidi, This is beautiful. What a huge project!!!! I can't imagine that your brother and his fiance won't just love this.
I LOVE the invite!

Heidi as always you've out done even yourself. It's gorgeous. I'll bet you'll get others wanting you to do their invites for them as well. uh oh!!
I'm sorry that it took a lot of time and effort. But the outcome is perfection! They will love them.
I'll see if our store has any of the paper you're looking for. I'll let you know.
Beautiful job Heidi.

Lisa
I don't even have words for this!!! The amount of time and love you put into these invitations is incredible!! They're just gorgeous, and I'm sure you're not going to have a minute to yourself at the wedding, because people will keep coming up to you to compliment you on them! :D I picked up about 19 sheets of the pink paper for you today, and I'll see if I can stop by another Michael's to clean them out, too. If you could email me your mailing address I'd appreciate it! :D sq9_21@hotmail.com
