Wedding Invitation Sample

A few weeks ago I posted a sample wedding invitation that I made for my brother & his fiance. These are two of the other samples I came up with. They ended up choosing this one. I'll have to make 200 of them! I am going to start ordering supplies shortly and get working on them. It should be fun. The only part I'm dreading is dry embossing & cutting out all those daisies for the invites... 2 daisies per invite x 200 = 400 daisies. YIKES! And then the save the date card has 3 daisies on each one. That's another 600 daisies! I think I'll be buying my future sister-in-law a light box, stylus and template so she can suffer with me... er.... help me emboss some of them!

Heidi, Heidi, Heidi...Just the thought of embossing all those flowers by hand makes my hands hurt! The invitation they chose is beautiful and I'm sure even with all the work you will enjoy this project. I think I might consider a Big Kick or something for all that embossing though. :)

All the samples are great. Just thinking about making the invites makes my head hurt! Let me know if you end up needing some help. I am good at assembly line and grunt work.

You do such nice work and no-one dry embosses like you!! I have several things that I received in swaps and love them all. Have fun with all those invites. We might not see you for awhile. lol

Hey Heidi.

I just had to pop on and tell you how much I love your work. You create such beautiful things. The top invitation of today's post is my absolute favorite (I know it doesn't matter, since she didn't pick that one, but I still had to tell you ;) )

heheheh...I am so glad that you enjoy embossing. I was so amazed at CK last year watching you so relaxed doing embossing and cutting. Half my projects still aren't finished.
