I made this as a gift for a friend. I have been in a lot of card candy swaps and although they are time consuming to make, I love the end result!! Card candy is handmade embellishments for your cards or scrapbooks. You know those little packages of stickers or embellishments you get at the scrapbook store? Just like that but handmade.... so much better! I dry embossed all the little embellishments using Lasting Impressions templates, and adhered them to acetate using temporary adhesive. I found the template for the holder at Papertrey's site. It's a FREE template! You can find it here. It's the recipe wrap up template. It was easy and quick to make. Then I put each of the little card candy pieces inside the pockets. I decorated the front with a few extra pieces of the card candy flowers. I love how this turned out. Thanks for stopping by!
