Birthday Tag Swap
I joined my first swap on Splitcoast Stampers a couple weeks ago. I used to swap a lot on the Paper Crafts site, but since they changed that site and merged it with the CK site, it just hasn't been the same. The swap I joined was for Birthday tags. I have been wanting to use this new Inkadinkadoo birthday cupcake stamp set that I got for Christmas, and I thought this was the perfect opportunity! I paper pieced the cupcake paper and then ran the paper through a corrugator to make it look more like an actual cupcake paper. I made a matching card to send to the hostess. I definitely recommending swapping. It is so much fun to make your swap items, and then the best part is getting lots of different swap items back. It's really fun to get new ideas from other swappers.

Very cute! I love your paper piecing. I've been doing some swaps on SCS too - mostly images. I just got my first card swap back from there. Maybe we'll run across each other in one there sometime.
What a cute idea!! and I have never thought about making a matching card for the hostess - that is so sweet!! I particularly love it that you corrugated the cupcake paper. A perfect touch!!

Cute! Cute! Cute!!! I've been swapping for awhile on SCS under the same forum name that you already know me as.....hopefully we will have the opportunity to swap together over there. I'm in an embossing swap over there new that made me think of you. I can't think of embossing without thinking of you!
The corrugated cupcake paper idea is brilliant. wonderful paper piecing and perfect idea of making the hostess a matching card.
Love the tags!!
Adorable tags and what a great idea to make a matching card for the hostess! Love the cupcake and the pink rick rack to top it off!
Hi Heidi! I loved your swap tag and card! It's nice to put a face w/ the name and the great stamp work. Thanks for the kind comments on my blog too. I really enjoy looking over your blog and projects.
