Easy Cup Card
This card was easier to make than it looks!! I found the directions at Splitocaststampers here. The cup is made out of vellum. I sponged the back side of the vellum with some ink and folded in the edges 1/8" to give it the 3-D look. The strawberries are dry embossed using a Lasting Impressions template. All the paper I used is from Lasting Impressions as well. I lined the top of the cup with some stickles. I'm not sure I would do that again, because the stickles are wet, the top of the cup warped a little bit. The other examples of this card I saw at Splitcoaststampers used a strip of red line tape/sticky strip and then used some sort of beads or crystals on top of the tape. I took one strawberry and cut a slit from the bottom and attached it to the cup. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day!

You're Berry Sweet!
I love how this card turned out. I made it for a one-on-one embossed card swap using the sketch shown above. All the paper is from Lasting Impressions and I used a Lasting Impressions brass template to emboss the strawberries. I printed the sentiment on my computer. Hope you're having a great week and are staying cool! I've been busy working on my brother's save the date cards for his wedding. I need to update the totals I have listed on the right side of my blog. I've been cutting out daisies like crazy, and haven't had much time for other crafting.

Another Double Slider
These double slider cards are really hard to photograph!! I guess it doesn't help that the lighting in my craft room is terrible too. I made this card for my friend who's daughter is turning 1 this month. I stamped the Happy Birthday on one slider and heat embossed it, and then added the gift card to the other slider. The paper is from one of those Die Cuts With a View paper stacks. I have so many of those paper stacks and never use them! See my previous post for the link to the You Tube video on how to make the double slider card. Hope you're having a great weekend!

Double Slider Card
This card was hard to photograph. It's a Double Slider Card, I found the directions on how to make it on You Tube. It's really easy to make. This was part of a challenge on the Yahoo Embossing Group that I belong to. Each person received the embossed pieces (watermelon, ant and some ribbon) and had to make a card using the pieces. It is really neat to see how everyone's cards turn out so differently. I immediately thought of making a picnic invite. I printed the You're Invited and the What, Where, When on my computer. Thanks for stopping by!

Sunny Side Up!
I love these cute little stamps. They're by Two Scoops Rice Designs. I ordered a couple different sets and have had them for awhile but never used them. It's been awhile since I stamped anything. I found time this weekend to stamp and color these images (quick because they're pretty small). I like how this card turned out. Hope you have a great week!

Congrats - New House!
A couple weeks ago my brother and his fiance bought their first house. The first picture is of them standing in front of the new house. I made this card for them, it is a CD holder template that I modified to fit a gift card and a flower seed packet. I got the idea for the holder by a project that Natasha posted on her Punch Happy online class. The house was dry embossed using a Lasting Impressions template. The Congratulations sentiment was printed from my computer. Hope you're having a great Monday!

Simple Alligator Card
I signed up for the sketch card swap this month on the Dry Embossing Yahoo Group I belong to. I had some old Lasting Impressions business envelope sized paper that was already dry embossed with a pattern around the outside. I immediately thought it would be perfect for this sketch. I hope it shows up in my picture. Dry Embossing on white paper is hard to photograph. This was a really quick card to make, since most of the embossing was done for me! I dry embossed the alligator using one of my new Lasting Impressions templates and then cut a frame out of some blue paper. I measured 1/2" in on all edges of the frame, and then cut that out using an exacto knife. I tied a ribbon to the frame, and voila! Done with this card in less than 10 minutes!! Plus I think it turned out really cute for a quick card! Thanks for stopping by!

Bun in the Oven!
My friend Eva is pregnant & having a baby shower in a couple weeks. I saw this on Splitcoast Stampers, and followed the directions to make this cute little oven. The bun inside is a pair of baby socks rolled up, with a piece of grey card stock wrapped around it. Isn't it the cutest?! You can get the directions to make it here. I think this is my favorite thing I've made in awhile. I am really happy with how it turned out. I think Eva will be thrilled with it.
